A gesture of thanks from one of our customers for the service we are offering to our community during these very difficult times. We have been batch cooking and delivering healthy,nutritious, immune boosting meals to our customers who are isolating at home. I personally have been offering to grocery shop for a few of our elderly customers. Pick up news papers, post letters etc. And just simply check in them daily. When I opened Mahalia's Whole Food Cafe seven months ago - August 2019. My main ethos was to help to bring awareness of health and wellness to the wellbeing of my community in which I've lived for over fifteen years. Which is so much needed. Through the food we serve and the services we offer. We are more than "Just a cafe" that typically sells teas coffees cakes and bacon sandwiches. In fact, we don't sell bacon sandwiches. Teas, coffees and cakes are our least selling items. We are know for our fresh, seasonal, REAL, nutritious foods....which are essential even more now than ever. To help boost our immune systems. We are also known for the sound nutritional advice customers get...most times for FREE. And we are going the extra mile to help those who we can help in whatever way we can.
